Roger Holzberg is the founder of Reimagine Well, a company that designs and builds immersive healing programs for hospitals and treatment centers. The Infusionarium platform empowers patients to receive treatment in the place they believe will best heal them; then provides a dynamic, responsive education platform to aid in the creation of a health plan for life. He also served as the first (consulting) Creative Director for the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
At CalArts, in collaboration with Shannon Scrofano, he developed the experience design in healthcare curriculum with the goal of training artists to improve patient experience in the healthcare industry. The “Healthcare By Design” class has delivered programs for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Henry Mayo Hospital, Boys Town Hospital, Baptist Hospital South Florida and SeventyK.
He previously spent 12 years as an award-winning Creative Director / Vice President at Walt Disney Imagineering where he led the creative development for a broad portfolio of projects ranging from PlayStation® games to theme park icons and multiple Disney World Celebrations; from mass audience interactive experiences and rides to the MMOG Virtual Magic Kingdom. Prior to Disney, Roger helped build Knowledge Adventure, creator of the Jumpstart brand, and was the creative lead in interactive projects like Steven Spielberg’s Director’s Chair and Starbrite Worlds Online. In “classic media” he has written and directed feature films and theater, but is genuinely proud of researching and writing the IMAX film "The Living Sea" (Academy Award nomination for documentary).
Personally, he is a proud father and a 20+ year cancer survivor. Learn more.
